I can't wait to dive back into the game and subsequently dive back out and repeat this ad nauseum. This is terrific news for one of the Co-opticrew's favorite indie games of last year. Small changes, such as UI adjustments and bug fixes, rounded out the list. Another large complaint was also addressed, that being the ability to share items and research among your team. Now, those marathon sessions can be spaced over a number of days, weeks, or even centuries, heat death of the universe not withstanding. This is (thankfully) no longer the case! Patch 1.0.58 introduced, among other things, the ability to load and save multiplayer games, with the game autosaving at the beginning of each floor. This typically resulted in 'all or nothing' sessions where, at some point, you and your friends eventually A) Died horribly to some demon robot things B) Decided that you had to go to bed and give up the hours of progress you'd just made, or C) Made a blood oath with each other declaring that playing Dungeon of the Endless was your life now and nothing (except maybe starvation) would stand in the way of you getting to the 10th floor. One of the main issues with the game's 4 person co-op modes was a complete lack of Save/Load options that were present in the single player. Alongside their free weekend on Steam, Amplitude Studios released patch 1.0.58. Alright, big news came to indie strategy/roguelike/rpg darling, Dungeon of the Endless, a couple weeks ago.
